We will start our nice walk from the heart of the Spanish Palermo, the so called "Four Corners Square". Nearby we will enjoy the spectacular Pretoria marble Fountain on the "Piazza"just in front of the City Hall. We will see the Martorana Church decorated with splendid Byzantine mosaics from the 12th Century and also San Cataldo Church topped with its three Moorish domes. Afterwards you will be impressed not only by the incredible marble inlays in the Jesuits Church or Casa Professa but also by the lively atmosphere of"Ballarò", the most typical open-air food market. Our tour ends up in Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the Cathedral of Palermo, an amazing conglomerate of art and history that contains the silver urn of Saint Rosalia, the Patron Saint of Palermo and the most important Royal tombs in Sicily.
