• After meeting in the village of Orta, we'll take a taxi boat to the Island S. Giulio: the local tour lasts around 50 minutes. The Island is the most romantic and spiritual place you can dream of. Its only circular street is called The way of Silence and Meditation, and if you're lucky you might hear, while strolling, the almost 80 cloistered nuns chanting inside their chapel. . . A wonderful experience, believe me! • Back to Orta, we'll have a short break for a cappuccino/espresso! • We'll visit the charming, fully pedestrianized village of Orta with its medieval and quaint buildings, its narrow lanes which conceal intriguing century-old traces. There are little shops all along the main street, selling different items, and cosy cafés and restaurants. . . • During sunny days we usually can end our tour with a 30-minute romantic walk back to our meeting point. You can take gorgeous pictures of the lake and its verdant hills!
