Naples historic center : the greek roman city between history and tradition

Naples has 3000 years of history. Very few cities have had the continuity of history Naples has; Rome, of course, is one of these. But there is a difference. In Rome with the coming of Christianity, the focus of power shifted away from the ancient centre. In Naples no such shift took place; the ancient city survived both in its street pattern and its geography of prestige. Its historical district, one of the biggest in Europe, is been declared by Unesco "cultural heritage site". I love my city and its environs. I constantly take advantage of the incredible myriad of experiences available here and I enjoy sharing my culture and my passion with my guests. Let's discover with me its narrow and picturesque alleyways surrounded by lavish churches, underground caves, roman's remains, noble buildings, peaceful gardens and incredible masterpieces of art.
