Shore excursion: Pompeii and the archeological museum of Naples

Pompeii is simply amazing! Walking around the city you see how they were smart and modern! On 79 A. D. , the most tragic eruption of the Mount Vesuvius came: under 30 feet of ash, no one survived but the city was preserved. They had streets, shops, houses, theatres, baths, markets, squares, temples. Pompeii is one of the most famous archeological sites ever, and above all, it's the only one with the victims: you can see their bodies made on plaster. Very sad but very interesting too, because we know everything about them. Recently, archeologists are at work! I'll tell you something about the new areas and discoveries! As you'll see, it's not easy to preserve the city: that's why several materials, as frescoes, mosaics, statues are in the archeological museum of Naples. We complete our tour going above all to the sections dedicated to the Vesuvian cities. The museum has different sections, and I will show you some "masterpieces" of it.
