Pompeii with Mount Vesuvius Special Tour

Over the years I have retraced the streets of ancient Pompeii, countless times, so close my home, entering in a precious time machine where is possible to imagine the life of its inhabitants before the eruption of 79 DC. In the morning we'll go to the top of Vesuvius and at an altitude level of 1000m we'll hike along one of the most beautiful paths of the park. Vesuvius predominates the landscape of the Neapolitan gulf and has been the main character for many stories and legends. It is famous for the eruption that destroyed not only Pompeii but also other small villages nearby and is considered to be one of the ten most dangerous volcanos of the world. In 1995 Mount Vesuvius and the surrounding area was created into a National Park. In the afternoon we'll visit the archaeological site of Pompeii and take a fascinating journey back in time into the habits and customs of a wealthy town dating back from the Roman Empire where Vesuvius awoke from its dormant state and in a matter of hours buried Pompeii.
