Pompeii is a magical site. It catches everyone imagination. An ancient Roman city that vanished overnight in a volcanic eruption. Under the volcanic ash, the city had been beautifully preserved, an open window on the roman time. Pompeii is also my unending passion, started when I was 8 years old and I visited it for the first time. The only archeological site constantly able to surprise me with new excavations and new theories. We will walk on 2000 years old streets, surrounded by great public building like the well-preserved theatres' area, the richly decorated public thermal baths towards the Foro (the main square). But Pompei offers more than this. Pompeii is the life of the people brutally interrupted, their jobs, their food, their personal stories, their fears, their ambitions.
