Discover the vibrant city of Naples and indulge in a mouthwatering street food experience. On this guided city tour, you'll immerse yourself in a lively atmosphere as we wander through charming alleys, visit remarkable monuments and iconic sites, and witness artisans crafting nativity scenes and other handicrafts for sale in their workshops. Do you know that Caravaggio lived in Naples for 18 months? We're going to admire one of his paintings: The 7 Works of Mercy. We will also walk along Via dei Tribunali, Via San Biagio dei Librai, and visit Spaccanapoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Do you know that Diego Armando Maradona, played for Napoli and won 2 titles and a Uefa Cup? Let's walk to the Quartieri Spagnoli and check the gigantic Mural of Maradona, and take a picture with him. You'll fall in love with an unforgettable lunch out of Neapolitan Street Food: pizza, fried sea-food, pasta, and don't miss the chance to savour a legitimate Italian espresso and different pastries in a traditional café!
·We'll start by visiting the Duomo of San Gennaro, the Saint protector of Naples, and find out about the blood liquefaction miracle. ·After that, we'll take a short walk to visit the Pio Monte della Misericordia, where one of Caravaggio's paintings is kept. ·We'll then move along Via dei Tribunali and reach the San Lorenzo Maggiore church. ·Next, we'll visit the Roman Underground Market. ·While we walk, we'll have the Street Food Experience: we could eat at a table or just whilst walking, your choice! ·Continuing along the so-called "city of a thousand domes", we'll check some churches along the way, such as the Gesù Nuovo. ·We'll then do one more stop at the Cloister of the S. Claire Monastery, where there are ruins of the Roman's Thermal Baths. ·At last, we couldn't miss a visit to the local Market of Pignasecca, and check all the shops and stalls there! This tour can be customized according to your preferences & needs, if you'd like to visit something else.
