The Langhe food & wine tour - one day trip from Milan

Langhe region is a wonderful, peacefull area of Piedmont, just a couple of hours' drive from Milan. Most of all, it is the perfect area for lovers of good food and excellent red wine! The driver and I will pick you up at your hotel in Milan - first, we drive to Alba, the main town of Langhe. We will visit the old town and its beautiful cathedral, before driving through hills and vineyards. We are in Barolo area: medieval castles and incredible perched villages! We will enjoy a breathtaking landscape from La Morra's viewpoint. It's now time for lunch! We will reach a small, family-run winery to enjoy, in a sophisticated setting, a tasting of five wines and a typical three courses Langhe menu. Last stop, the medieval Castle of Grinzane Cavour. It is now time to return to Milan: relax and enjoy the trip, while returning to the busy city.
