When we look at the Duomo, the Marble Giant looks back to us with its shining white beauty. The Duomo is the very soul of Milan and the thousands of statues decorating it are the heads of the whole human kind. No matter who you are, which is your religion or where you are from, you feel the warm hug of inclusion and walking on the fine inlaid work pavement feels like strolling on a flower meadow. A sense of peace and spirituality will pervade every inch of our body and as an artist I admire this excellent building labour and the awareness of doing it for the community sake. Blinded by the light, when we exit the Duomo we'll walk the Gallery, the lofty city arcade where Prada's first shop was opened. Designed by a young and brave architect for sheltering citizens from the rain, it houses the most luxurious and stylish shops. The next step is bumping into La Scala, the Temple of Music, the place where it is easy to figure out Cinderella dancing with her Prince Charming.
