A special tour to discover the most ancient and unknown soul of Milan! We will start at the commercial heart of ancient Mediolanum, here you will discover the grandeur of the Western Roman Empire by visiting the Basilica of San Lorenzo, which houses early Christian mosaics that whisper stories of the city's past. A short walk will take you to the Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio, where the legendary relics of the Three Kings rest. Don't miss the splendid Portinari Chapel, a masterpiece of early Renaissance art and architecture. From here, we will explore the charming Navigli district, a hidden gem that once served as Milan's bustling port, interconnected by a network of canals that drove the city's commercial success. Today, the Navigli is a vibrant and colorful neighborhood filled with bars and restaurants, but its cobblestone streets and historic charm offer a timeless escape, inviting you to immerse yourself in the authentic essence of Milan.
Highlights: Carrobbio Basilica of San Lorenzo and Aquilino Chapel (inside) Basilica of Sant' Eustorgio and Portinari Chapel (inside) Darsena Naviglio grande The itinerary can be customized according to your needs and requests In the museums, in the archaeological sites and in general in all the churches dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below knees. Do not bring large items (e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas…) on tour because they are not permitted.
