Milan Contemporary Architecture Tour

Milan is one of the most modern cities of Italy and it has a flourishing economy thanks to its perfect connections with other Italian and European cities. In the last decade, many former industrial areas have been cleared and are now subject to important urban developments that have given Milan a skyline. As an architect I do love to show you these. In about two hours we visit the most important areas of this city like Porta Nuova, Porta Garibaldi, with the Bosco Verticale, the new park called Biblioteca degli Alberi and the appreciated Piazza Gae Aulenti and Herzog and De Meuron's Fondazione Feltrinelli. After a short metroride, we then go to CityLife where we admire buildings by international architects like late Zaha Hadid, Daniel Libeskind and Isozaki. While I explain you about the current developments, I will also give you an inside about what Milan will look like in ten or twenty years, when some of the current plans have been realised.
