Como Tour - Must see places and genuine Italian flavours

Como is a charming town, full of monuments and villas, with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. If you’re on the lake, don’t miss the opportunity to visit it and discover unique places where you can enjoy good wines and good food. We will walk through the historic centre, see the most important spots and monuments and stop first in an authentic "bottega", where we will enjoy a wine tasting with a small selection of cured meats and cheeses. The second stop will be an organic bakery, where we will taste three different bakery products; the owner Alessandra will let you know her secrets about sourdough (called in Italian Lievito Madre) and whole wheats from ancient grains. Our tour will continue on the lake: we will take the slow boat to Moltrasio; from the boat we will be able to see some famous villas and spots (Villa D’Este, Villa Pizzo, Villa Passalacqua). In Moltrasio there’s a wonderful “gelateria”, where Laura produces ice cream with passion and, of course, seasonal and natural ingredients!
