With this tour you will get an overview of the city admiring the main highlights of Florence, starting from the majestic Duomo Cathedral, the fourth largest in the world, and the Baptistery, where all Florentines were baptized. Its door, the Paradise Gate, is the symbol of the birth of the Renaissance and it was cast in bronze and designed by Gilberti an artist who dedicate their entire life to this project. After the Duomo Square, we will walk through Piazza Repubblica, the ex-Roman forum to reach the Arno River with a picture stop at the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) , After a quick gelato/focaccia snack we will enter the imposing Uffizi Gallery after the security check will focus on the big masterpieces by Michelangelo, Botticelli, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Raphael. The tour will end inside the museum at the Cafeteria and if you would like to visit the first floor as well with the Manierist artists and Titian, Caravaggio you could do it independently or extend the tour of 30 minutes with a small extra fee.
