Florence for families!

This walking tour is designed for families with young kids and focused to get them involved in the experience. The children will be asked to use their 5 senses to explore Florence: "Smell": we will smell ancient perfumes invented in the XIII century. "Hearing": we listen to the bells and the sounds of the city. "Sight": we stroll through narrow alleys in the city center, passing by tall Medieval towers and Renaissance palaces. We challenge our "sight" to discover hidden details and to hunt the coat of arms of ancient rich and power families. "Touch":we stop at some artisans' workshops (opening times permitting) to discover either how to decorate paper or mint an old gold coin. "Taste": we end up with a blinded gelato tasting in my local favourite place! Are you able to recognise different gelato flavours if blindfolded?
