What could be more relaxing than a tour in the Chianti district? Everyone knows that this is one of the most enchanting wine areas in the world but do you know how the Chianti wine is produced? Join me and we will spend a lovely day together in this paradise on earth enjoying some good wine, extra virgin olive oil and a fabulous landscape. On our 5-hour tour we will visit the picturesque town Greve in Chianti, located in the heart of the so-called Chianti Classico district, and also famous for being the hometown of the navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano. We will have time to explore the center and I will take you to the charming shops where local products are sold. The highlight though is the visit of a winery in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. We will tour the premises of the winery and see the procedure of wine-making. Of course we will spend most of the time just relaxing and doing the wine tasting.
5-hour guided tour in minivan with my driver. - 1 hour stop in the small town Greve in Chianti located about 50 minutes from Florence by car. Time to look around, taste extra virgin olive oil/wine, shopping or just enjoying a coffee in the main square. - Visit of a winery located around 30 minutes from Greve in Chianti where we have a 90-minute tour and wine tasting of 5 different wines with an English-speaking guide. - At the end of the wine tasting there will be time to purchase wine before we return to Florence (45 minutes).
