We'll be going through one of the most renowned and visited museums in the world, the Uffizi Gallery, we'll admire the highlights of its priceless collection. We'll trace the evolution of Italian painting through a magnificent selection of artists that range from the Gothic master Giotto and continue on through the apex of the Renaissance with Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Botticelli and other extraordinary artists.

After we will head over to the Accademia, to see one of the greatest masterpiece of the genius of Michelangelo, the David, as well as some others of his works.

During the tour I'll give you the details behind these amazing artworks and the stories around them for you to have a better understanding of the relevance of each work of art.

The Accademia museum is considered the official Michelangelos museum, since the structure hosts some of the greatest masterpieces of the Divine Artist, such as St. Mathew, The Prisoners, and the magnificent David.

After David we will proceed with pleasant walk around the historical center where we will discover the most memorable stories that are linked to the main monuments of the town.
Florence is an amazing open air museum, which has a lot to offer to travelers.

Note: even with the skip the line tickets, we may find some line for following reasons:
- It's a very high season

- and last but not least: There is no any german working inside the museum, they are all italians, so sometimes they take their time;)

The Uffizi museum - or, rather, the Galleria degli Uffizi - was the first museum in the world to be devised, and since then the term "gallery" was quickly adopted by similar major institutions all over the world. It is Italy's second most-important museum after the Musei Vaticani in Rome, and the Republic's most important one, belonging the one in Rome to the Holy See. By taking this tour you will take a fascinating journey through masterpieces of Italian art from Roman times to the late Renaissance. You will be equipped with whispers, and in order to help the curve of attention, you can go for a break halfway or so through the tour having cappuccino or sip Spritz or any other drink you might desire, seated in one of the most panoramic terraces in Firenze. . .

This fee covers costs of the "whispers" radio sets plus the cost for reserving your tickets. The latter  includes the cost of reservations plus the cost of actually processing this request. On the day of the visit I will walk you to the museum tickets booth where you will pay directly the balance to them, either cash or by credit card.

You can't visit Florence without looking at the sculpture masterpiece : the original David by Michelangelo on display here since 1873 and since 1909 his four Prisoners and other statues have joined him.
I would like to take you for a short walk to show you places so important to Michelangelo when he started off his art in Florence, protected by Lorenzo De Medici. Walking inside the Academia should be a revealing experience as this museum was founded in 1784 by Pietro Leopoldo, Gran duke of Tuscany as an Academy of the Arts. Artists have always learnt from other artists, so we have the chance to look at a number of Florentine paintings dates 1400-1500 so influential to Michelangelo and others after him like Giambologna and Lorenzo Bartolini.
On the upper floor a special collection of fifty musical instruments of the Conservatory Luigi Cherubini located nearby that was the private collection of Gran duke of Florence dated 16th and 17th cent.
