A Day with a Shepherd in Dorgali - Barbagia Blue Zone Experience

Today I'll take you to discover the Blue Zone in Dorgali. From Cala Gonone, we'll visit the fascinating Ghivine forest, not far from the coast of the Gulf of Orosei, known for its beautiful beaches and its blue sea. After a nice 4x4 adventour, we'll arrive at a majestic natural stone arch, a magical place ideal for taking wonderful photos, learning about the ancient history of these rocks that emerged from the sea millions of years ago, and of the Nuragic civilization born 1500 years b. c. We will also visit a shepherd and goat breeder from Dorgali, who will share and discuss, and may also even show us the art of milk processing and cheese making (depending on the time period the tour is booked in). Listening to his legendary stories about life in these mountains and the agro-pastoral tradition, we'll taste some products made directly by him, accompanied by a good glass of cannonau wine and a lunch based on typical local products of the Blue Zone. If requested, we could also visit some artisan in Dorgali!
