Carrara, Marble quarries & Cured meats tour

A journey for Pioneers, leaving Florence behind us we will drive towards the Alpi Apuane, where the marble quarries of Carrara are settled. Majestic mountains, quarried since the etruscan times. You will be driven along scenic roads overlooking the marble quarries to reach the tiny town of Colonnata where a local producer of cured meats is attending for us. Here you will learn the production of this incredible, delicious, melting cured meat called "Lardo". Aged in marble boxes for over 1 year. Learning will be paired with tasting of their fantastic production of cured meats, cheeses and marmellades. Of course "Lardo" on a bread, it's soo good!
