This tour is the best way to see the most beautiful villages along the Amalfi coast. I'm a local driver whit 20 years of experience and I'm graduated in fine arts. Believe me when I say that you will feel immerse in living painting. I'm a very safe driver and my aim is the make you feel comfortable as we were friends. So please feel free to tell me what's your expectation from this experience and I'll be more than happy to make it true. In each village you will have free time to walk around the Piazza and feel the local authenticity. There will be 3 musts during your visit: In Amalfi I really suggest you to visit the Saint Andreas Cathedral, You won't believe it was build more than 1. 000 years ago. In Ravello you have to see Villa Rufolo with the spectacular view and it's gardens. in Positano you must have a glass of Italian wine down the shore and relax
The itinerary of this tour will depend by where we will start from. It could be either from Naples hotel or port (in case you are on the cruise) or Sorrento. From Naples - Option #1: - 1. 5 hr drive along the bay of Naples and Sorrento coast to Positano (1hr stop) - 45' drive along the Amalfi coast to reach the town of Amalfi (1hr stop) - 30' drive up to 900ft to Ravello (1hr stop) - 1hr drive back to Naples by the mountainy road - From Naples - Option #2 (On a busy day): the itinerary will be like Option #1 but reversed (Ravello will be the first stop) - From Sorrento: - 1 hr drive along the coastal road to the town of Amalfi (1hr stop) -30' drive up to 900ft to Ravello (1hr stop) -1 hr drive along the Amalfi coast to Positano (1hr stop) The itinerary will be suggested and decided on the day when we meet. To each of these itineraries there will be a stop for lunch (if required) of approximately 1 hr. Timing can change in case of traffic. You will have time to explore the villages and walk around Piazza
