🏞️ Rifugio Imbò – Gateway to the Vesuvius Crater Located at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters above sea level, Rifugio Imbò is the main starting point for the hike to the Great Cone of Mount Vesuvius. https://maps.app.goo.gl/8GNYCYUkgNUaLgyK9 🥾 The path from Rifugio Imbò to the crater rim is about 1.5 km (1 mile) long, moderately easy, and takes around 30–40 minutes each way.
