This amazing cultural, archaeological and historical excursion is the most complete tour of the area, as you will visit all the must see places in Cagliari as well as the ancient roman escavations in Nora. I will take you to Basilica di Bonaria, Monte Urpino sightseeng terrace and guide you through the old town, the medieval neighbourhood called "Castello", which is still surrounded by the 14th century walls. Exploring Castello requires an easy up hill walk but you'll be rewarded with stunning views! After a short break we'll drive to Pula where you'll visit ancient Nora, Sardinia's little Pompeii! The town was an important punic-roman trading post and one of the earliest Phoenician settlements on the Island. In a beautiful setting on the sea, the archaeological sight has punic and roman remains such as the theatre, the temple, the forum, the patrician villa and the bath.
