South Tyrolean Food is traditionally not vegan friendly, however if advised well in advance I can adjust the tastings with vegetarian options.

All Eastern Dolomites and part of Western Dolomites in just one day: 280 km/174 miles through this masterpiece of the nature included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2009.

On this tour you will see the splendid peaks of the Eastern Dolomites together with the most beautiful lakes.

We will also visit Cortina d'Ampezzo, the "Pearl of the Dolomites", Italy's premier mountain resort and home of the Winter Olympic Games of 1956. Cortina together with Milan will once again host the Winter Olympic Games in 2026.

The Heart of the Dolomites - Eastern Dolomites

One of the aspects that many might not know about Bolzano and ultimately South Tyrol, is its strong and controversial WWII history, specifically the time between summer of 1944 and spring of 1945, when the city was occupied by Nazi Germany and its consequences on its inhabitants and its Jewish community.

During this tour you'll get to chance to visit the only synagogue and Jewish museum (in Merano) present in the whole region of Trentino Alto-Adige. I'll give you the tools and information to understand how South Tyrol became very important to the point to even have a concentration camp built, from where the first Italy's deportation started.

I'll share with you the story of some of its prisoners and their fate. Along the way several stops to memorials tracing the fate of those that perished, will be visited. Finally we'll learn about Bolzano long history of the trading town's prominent Jewish community. As this is a full day, I'll include a stop for lunch on the way.

The Untold Bolzano: Half Day Private Tour

This tour is a journey in the history of an uncommon Bolzano.

Gries is today one of the districts of the city of Bolzano, but it has not always been such. Its history is in fact parallel to that of the city. Gries was joined to the municipality of Bolzano in 1925 during the Fascism.

This district also hosts the Bunker H: built between 1943 and 1944 for the exclusive use of the German army only, the Via Fago anti-aircraft bunker winds through the bowels of the mountain forming an incredible labyrinth of tunnels, galleries, passages and rooms. Completely excavated in the porphyry, it covers an area of ​​about 7000 square meters.
