Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, the southern part of Piedmont, between the Po river and the Ligurian Apennines, has been devoted to winegrowing and winemaking for centuries. As local, I am proud to know that, because of their cultural landscapes, outstanding living testimony to winegrowing and winemaking traditions, in 2014, 29 Villages in 6 areas of the in Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria Provinces, were inscribed on the UNESCO list. A big land where wines, truffles and hazelnuts are the main characters! In addition, Langhe area is where 1986 the concept of "Slow Food" was born. You will be guided around and through town and villages of Alba, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra, Barolo. Surrounded by wine-growing areas with outstanding landscapes. During the tour you will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views, to discover local wineries, and to take part of an exciting truffle hunting. Feel free to contact me if you would like to customize this tour!
