At the northern end of Douglas promenade we ride north on the Victorian-period Manx Electric Railway tramcar for four miles (15 minutes) taking in spectacular coastline. After stepping down, we set out on foot to tiny St Adamnan's chapel, with its graveyard and fine collection of celtic crosses set in a peaceful grove of trees. A special site which I always appreciate visiting. We continue down to Groudle beach, and on around the coast path around Howstrake back to Douglas.
