During my childhood school holidays, my family and I used to love holidaying in Doolin and visiting the famous Cliffs of Moher. Doolin, a small village on Ireland's west coast, has strong ties to traditional Irish music and is famous for its lively pubs, so it's a popular destination for tourists seeking an authentic Irish experience, such as enjoying a pint of Guinness with live music playing. The stunning views and rugged landscape of the cliffs never failed to take our breath away. We would spend hours exploring the cliffs, taking in the fresh sea air and watching the crashing waves below. Another highlight of our holiday was visiting the historic Bunratty Castle, where we would immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of Ireland. We would spend our days wandering through the castle's rooms, cottages and folk park imagining what life would've been like centuries ago. These memories from my childhood are some of my fondest and I will always cherish the time spent in Doolin and Bunratty Castle.
·Starting with a pick-up will be at your hotel or another chosen point in Limerick, we'll depart the city and travel for roughly an hour to one of Ireland's top tourist attractions. ·Either before or after reaching the cliffs (depending on your preference), we'll have a stop off in Doolin where we'll wander around for a bit before having lunch. ·On arrival, we'll walk along the main street and enjoy seeing some of the local shops, which for example sell the famous Aran sweaters, and eateries such as my personal favourite, Gus O'Connor Pub & Restaurant where we could enjoy a traditional Irish meal like Guinness Pie and Irish Stew. ·Later on, as we head back towards Limerick, our final stop will be in Bunratty village, which has a castle that dates back to the 15th century. If you'd like to enter the castle for a visit, let me know in advance and I could customize this tour for you accordingly. ·Once we get to Bunratty, we'll explore some stores and pass by the Durty Nellis pub. ·At last, we'll return.
