Tour of The Skellig Rocks & Stars Wars filming location & Valentia Island Kerry Ireland

The 6th Century monastic site on Skellig Michael is situated off the south west coast of Ireland on the very edge of the continent of Europe and is one of only three UNESCO World Heritage Sites on the island of Ireland. Featured in the current Star Wars film 'The Force Awakens' & The Last Jedi highlighting the mystical and magical features of Skellig Michael. The tour will start in Killarney at 7. 00am driving the outward leg of the Ring of Kerry to the quaint fishing village of Portmagee where you take the boat trip to Skellig Michael. The boat trips have to be pre-booked in advance of taking the tour. I do not accompany you to Skellig Michael due to limited seats on the boat, you will be greeted by an OPW official tour guide on your arrival on Skellig Michael who will give a safety talk, and also at the top of the steps at The Monastery giving a talk on the history of Skellig Michael. On return to the mainland we tour Valentia Island. Boat trips are weather & sea conditions dependent each day.
