The Cliffs of Moher, Clare, Galway & Connemara on The Wild Atlantic Way

The Connemara region with the counties of Clare and Galway are the most scenic and least spoilt regions of Ireland. I have close family members living in Galway and have returned over the years to explore these ancient places that are steeped in culture and history. This part of Ireland is my most favourite place to tour and visit. This two day private motor tour includes a visit to the iconic Cliffs of Moher en route to the 12th century City of Galway, on the banks of the River Corrib and the gateway to Connemara. Following The Cliffs of Moher we will take the scenic Black Head Drive through The Burren National Park and on to your overnight stop in Galway City. On Day 2 you will travel through the picturesque town of Oughterard, stop at The Quiet Man Bridge before arriving at Maam Cross in the heart of the Maumturk Mountains. We will continue to Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park. This stretch of Atlantic coast through Ballyconneely and Roundstone has to be the most scenic in all of Ireland.
