According to local folklore the route was created by mystical giants who shaped the landscape to protect the region's natural beauty! The ring shape is said to symbolise the eternal cycle of life and nature with stops along the way offering a unique glimpse into the region's history and heritage. Our tour begins in Killarney and takes us through rugged mountains, dramatic coastline and very nice villages of the Iveragh Peninsula. You'll want to take plenty of photos- and we will! We'll also make out to Valentia Island to catch a glimpse of the lighthouse built in 1653. The views from the island are mesmerising Skellig Michael can be distinguished by its twin peaks and ancient monastic site. I can customise this tour according to your preferences.
The ring itself is approximately 110 miles, there are multiple stops and things to see along the way. The itinerary below is suggested only and can be adapted to suit individual trips.
