Private Kenmare and The Ring of Beara Peninsula Tour

It is a truly lovely day out to explore The Beara Peninsula which is a quiet area, narrow roads but with a great sense of peace and serenity. A visit to the Dzogchen Beara Buddhist Meditation Centre perched on the cliff edge which is not easily found but which I find a hidden gem is the most special highlight of the tour. The Beara Peninsula route includes wild seascapes, beautiful scenery and colourful villages with many surprises along the way. The tour starts in Kenmare and continues on the scenic and coastal route to Tuosist, Lauragh, Ardgroom and Castletownbere viewing Bantry Bay and the two mountain ranges - The Caha Mountains and The Slieve Miskish Mountains. This drive is also part of the Wild Atlantic Way tourism trail filled with hidden gems and treasures. We will also pass through the towns of Adrigole, Castletownbere, Allihies with sights of Dursey Island and arrive in the small tourist town of Glengarriff returning to Kenmare via The Healy Pass and Bonane.
