The vibrant, bohemian city of Galway has a rich historical and cultural history but is also compact and easily walkable. We will start at Eyre square the focal point of the city; see some of the city's medieval buildings; experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Latin quarter Galways cultural and shopping centre. We will then cross the river to the Westend a quirky and bohemian area with interesting streets, shops, buildings and waterways. The Westend has become the 'foodie' area of Galway. We will finish the tour at the famous Spanish arch and Long Walk whilst looking out at Galway Bay and across to the Claddagh, home of the famous ring. This is a fun and interesting tour which will give you a real feel for the captivating city of Galway.
