The Cliffs of Moher is a hotspot for a wide range of flora and fauna with as many as 20 different species of birds to be seen. The cliffs have been featured in many movies including Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, Leap Year, and many more. The Cliffs of Moher stand tall at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare. They rise from the Atlantic Ocean, forming a natural barrier that has with stood the test of time. Geologically, the cliffs are a mosaic of sandstone, siltstone, and shale, layered over millions of years. Your adventure starts when you visit the west of Ireland centres around the epic landscape and rugged terrain it is famous for. Gigantic cliffs, endless Mars-like landscapes, ancient monastic cities, modern new-age cities, and what is known as Ireland's most romantic buildings all await visitors to the west of Ireland.
We have a 2 1/5 hour drive to Co. Clare First off we will arrive at the Cliffs of Moher we will spend up to 2 hours exploring this wilderness and walking the cliffs with plenty of oportunity to get that perfect photo. next up we will drop by the picturesque Doolin Village with its multi-coloured thatched cottages. We will call to the Burren Perfumery where they play a short film to explain the landscape of the surrounding Rock formations of The Burren National Park Galway's Latin Quarter is about an hours drive where you will get a chance to sample a bit of city life and the music, bars and the cafe scene of vibrant Gaway city here you will explore a bit of free time to yourselves. On our journey back to Dublin we will stop off at Sean's Bar which is the renowned oldest pub in Ireland for a whiskey and a Pint of the black stuff Guinness, and then onward bound back to Dublin.
