The English Market, one of the oldest markets of its kind in Europe which drew worldwide attention when Queen Elizabeth called in during her Cork visit 2011. 3. Cork City Hall, hear about the history of Cork especially the tumultuous events during the War of Independence in the rebel county 4. St. Finbarr's Cathedral, spectacular gothic architecture built in the 19th Century. 5. The Lough, scenic lake in Cork City with an island in the middle. Swans, geese and duck all around. 6. U.C.C.,University College Cork,visit the iconic quadrant. 7. Blarney Castle, kiss the iconic Blarney Stone. 8. Blarney Wollen Mills. Shopping at the biggest "Irish" shop in the world. 9.
