This tour is super interesting, and a lot of fun! It's a mix of driving and walking - from your Cruise Ship, airport or hotel, where you can see the very heart of historical Dublin up close, including Trinity College, The GPO (scene of the 1916 Rebellion, or as we call it, 'The Rising'), Stephen's Green, the iconic River Liffey with it's beautiful Ha'Penny Bridge, Grafton Street, Stephen's Green, Christchurch Cathedral, St Patrick's Cathedral, and some lovely sneaky shopping and coffee areas.
This tour can be extended if you'd like to include Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Distillery, Book Of Kells or something else of your choice - just ask and I can adjust this for you.

Please note re Kilmainham Jail, this can sometimes be added, but I can never guarantee this due to nature of KJ ticketing method (it's complicated!), but I will definitely try if you ask.

We'll explore the history of the once vibrant Jewish Community and come with me to the Jewish Museum, with its wonderful collection of artifacts: a historical treasure trove. Enter the Old Synagogue in Walworth Road before further exploration reveals many more features of this fascinating area where members of my family were raised over 100 years ago.

How this tour works:

Sights: This 4hr tour takes you through some of the most important sights in Dublin. The stories and histories connected with them, explained by your guide, will transport you through the years, passions, pains and legacies of the Irish people.

Pints: Would you rather stand still in the cold for 10 minutes while I explain how Northern Ireland came about, or prefer to be seated in a warm pub, beer in hand?

Some big topics, e. g. Irish Language, Celtic Tiger, are best explained when you're nice and comfortable, so we'll pop into a (great) pub every 20-40mins. Besides the history lessons, you'll learn about beer, the Irish pub, as well as partake in / witness an activity that the Irish are renowned for - conversation.

Depart Dublin early morning and see the best of the west and to Dublin that evening, the Cliffs of Moher are a UNESCO Geo Park and Ireland's most popular sight. The unique rocky limestone landscape of the Burren is ideal for a short break along the Wild Atlantic Way. We pop into a lovely Irish Pub in Doolin, before we drive the Wild Atlantic Way to Kinvarra for photos of Dunguaire Castle, then return to Dublin
