Besakih Mother Temple in Bali Full Day Tour

The high light of the tour is the Besakih Mother temple. On our way to Besakih temple, we also visited Penglipuran village, a Balinese Traditional Village with unique cultures, social life, and house building structure, I will take you for a little walk through the village, visit the house, the main temple, and the bamboo forest. The tour continues on to Pura Kehen Temple, which was constructed in the 13th century, Stepping through the " Kori Agung" (stone capped gateway), there are elephant sculptures, which is unusual for a building of that age, as elephants are not native to Bali. The next stop is Besakih "The biggest temple in Bali" perched nearly 1000mts up the side of Gunung Agung. In fact, it is an extensive complex of 23 separate but related temples, with the largest and most important being Pura Penataran Agung. The next stop is Kertagosa, a building designed and built-in by the best artisans in the country.
