KODANAD ELEPHANT TRAINING CAMP; Kodaanad has one of the largest and most visited elephants Training centers in South India. This rustic riverside village is situated near the Periyar River. Elephants captured or rescued, are specially trained here for safari. These training sessions are conducted by the specially trained mahout. This training center also owns a mini zoo with lots of wild animals. Kodanad elephant training camp is about 42 km from Cochin city. ATHIRAPALLY WATERFALLS; is one of the most popular tourist places in Kerala. , which attracts tourists all year round. This splendid waterfall, about 80 feet high, is located at the entrance of Sholayar ranges. VAZHCHAL WATERFALLS; another beautiful waterfall, is just 5 km from Athirapally. Vazchal waterfall is close to the dense green forests near the Chalakudy river. Athirapally and Vazhahal are the most famous waterfalls in Kerala.
The tour departure time is flexible according to the arrival of the guest. First, visit the Kodanad elephant training camp and spend around 1-hour watch activities of the baby elephant and proceed to Athirampally. Athirapally Waterfall Visit; enjoy the natural beauty of Kerala's most famous waterfalls and also visit Vazhchal waterfalls. (2 hrs. ) Back to Cochin.
