Half day Private offbeat tour of Bangalore

Lets explore the side of Bangalore often overlooked, over the many tourist sites you come across in the city. This tour draws attention to some of the best places to visit, which are less visited by tourists and culturally very significant. First stop we will visit a 10th century cave temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. We'll uncover few mysteries surrounding this temple and learn a bit about Hinduism. After this we will take a small walk in the old neighborhood area, where some of the houses built a century back are protected and where we can even meet few locals staying here. A small walk in the dhobi ghat or (washermans village) will give you an idea of how manual laundry is done, and where the clothes are sundried out on the streets! After a quick coffee/snack break, in an old authentic restaurant we can head off to visit the remains of the old Bangalore fort and learn more about the history of the city. Last stop, we will visit the fresh produce, spices and largest flower market in India!
