This tour is mostly designated for travellers who don't want to be suffocatingly crowded into busses and driven to the extreme heat of summer Olympia. Instead they prefer to relax with the breeze, walking along the coast and swim in "private" beaches away from the crowds. During our walk we can also enjoy authentic greek dishes in a traditional tavern and endless divine wine. No matter what season you'll decide to cross the landscape of Peloponnese, you'll receive the best satisfaction for your senses and mind. Alpine grasslands till tropical beaches & endless vineyards till pristine oak forests can pass under your boots. So, don't hesitate to ask for alternative treks upon the season!
Distance: Approx. 10 Km Ascent: 70 m Terrain: Uneven (sand, dirt road, rocky paths). Trekking shoes, water & hat are mandatory! Water shoes also are recommended! - We start following the sandy beach till the footsteps of the hill, where we ascent gently through a dense cypress forest. - At the top of the hill just across the ruined medieval fortress, we'll have the pleasure to see the panoramic view over a beautiful bay as far as Zakynthos & Kefallonia islands. - Passing through the characteristic Mediterranean landscape, we reach several isolate beaches for swimming or snorkelling. - Finally, we finish our tour, enjoying some traditional snacks of Greek cuisine in a local tavern.
