Half Day Local Food Tour in Mykonos

On this tour, you'll visit 2 different places with for 2 distinct experiences in Mykonos. In the first part of the tour, you'll enjoy a unique food tasting just like in the old times (traditional bread, an original homemade Greek salad, Tarama, traditional octopus etc), in a local family typical Taverna. A Taverna is a traditional restaurant and a very singular place where you can see the prints of the past reflected in it. In the second part of our experience, we'll visit a cheese-making unit founded by a Mykonian cheesemaker. We'll carry out a guided visit to this cheese production farm from fresh sheep and cow milk where YOU will have the chance to make your very own cheese/greek dairy products like Kopanisti, Niari, Xinotyro, Tyrovolia, Vrasto & yoghurt. In the whole tour I'm going to help you understand the importance of the Greek food on people's lives, sharing how I experienced it in my family, from my grandparents to my parents & myself, and how we used to prepare food back in the day.
