The captivating city of Olympia is one of the main cities of Greece with rich ancient history. Visitors will have the chance to sample exquisite wines at a nearby winery, soaking in the flavors of Greece's finest vintages. - The meeting hour will be based on your ship's arrival. The meeting usually is scheduled to start 15 minutes after the ship's docking at the port of Katakolon. - The drive to Olympia lasts 30 minutes. - The visit to Olympia site and museum takes approximately 2 hours. There you will have free time to explore the ruins and museum (please note I will not be escorting you inside as I am not licensed guide) - We meet up at the exit of the site and the next stop will be Magna Grecia winery. It takes about 10 minutes to get there. - The visit to the winery contains wine tasting and treat with traditional vegetable snacks (1. 5 hours). - Next stop is Klio's honey farm. Nice rural farmhouse with treat of local panckakes served with home made honey (1 hour). - Next stop is Virgin Mary monastery. Really astonishing place where the church is inside rocks. Place worth to visit (1 hour) - The beach is located near the port . It takes 15 minutes to get there from Pyrgos - Transfer back to the port
