You will be met at the designated area of the port by your English speaking local expert professional driver and board the fully air-conditioned private vehicle to come to Olympia. Once in Olympia we will meet and I will take you on a tour through the ancient Olympic Games site and the archaeological museum. Being a specialist in history and the archaeology of Greece and having dedicated my life to it, join me and I will tell you amazing stories, a lot of insights behind the marvelous Olympia, and help you discover the "Greek spirit". Welcome to the Peloponnese! Meet your professional driver at the port and board our luxurious private vehicle, we will have our professional driver take us to Olympia. Along the way we will pass several groves. Once in Olympia we will meet and I will purchase your tickets skipping the lines and then start guiding you through the "alive ruins" of what was the sanctuary of Zeus and the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Among other things we will see the gymnasiums, the temple of Zeus, the temple of Hera and the altar where the modern Olympic flame is lit, the stadium and more. Just a few hundreds meters away lies the archaeological museum where among other things we will admire and I will present to you the pediments of the Zeus temple, the statue of Nike, the masterpiece of Hermes by Praxiteles and a collection of bronzes from the archaic times. After this 2. 5 hours long visit you will board your vehicle and return back to the port.
