This 7 hours tour offers you the chance to explore the most important sights of Athens, one of the most ancient cities in the world. We will visit the Acropolis, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathinaiko Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in Athens. You'll learn about history, enjoy amazing views, discover our traditions and even get to taste some specialties if you'd like to! I will do my best to share all my knowledge in order to bring you in touch with the place where Democracy, Philosophy, Geometry and generally sciences were born! Afterwards you will enjoy the food tasting experience very close to Acropolis. There you will taste different flavors of the Greek cuisine, all of them homemade (Veterinarian menu also provided). You will have the chance to explore the genuine Greek tastes and enjoy traditional dishes beyond the ordinary.
- Once I pick you up from your location, we'll explore the Acropolis for an hour and a half. - Next, we'll head to the Temple of Zeus for a 20 minute visit. - Afterwards, we'll make a 10 minute stop at the Panathenaic/Kalimarmaro Stadium. - What follows will be reaching Lycabettus Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of Athens where we'll stop for around 10 minutes to shoot some picturesque photos. - We'll then drive by the Hellenic Parliament, The Academy of Athens and the National Library of Greece. - After that we will enjoy food tasting experience for 90 minutes(this experience is not private) - At last, we'll drive back to the appropriate drop-off location. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
