Why this tour? We will leave touristy Athens behind and explore sites the way locals do. It's all about experiencing the food, the landscape, and the people. It is a great mixed experience of the Mythical Peloponnese, Zakynthos Island plus Delphi and Meteora. It's ideal for those looking to visit some amazing sites without wasting time driving in & out of Athens, but instead choosing to overnight & enjoy beautiful, authentic "Greek" locations. All with great accommodation that you can't experience in the big cities. This tour goes beyond the obvious places! These are the UNESCO sites & unique authentic locations we shall be visiting: 1] Corinth Canal, Mycenae, Nafplio town & Epidaurus theater 2] Ancient Olympia & take the ferry to Zakynthos island 3] Explore Zakynthos by car and boat or car only 4] Delphi via the Rion suspended bridge 5] Meteora monasteries & Thermopylae battlefield This tour will leave you with great memories.

Day 1 -Corinth canal (Option: Ancient Corinth) -Mycenae -Nafplio with the famous Venetian fortress of Palamidi -Epidaurus ancient theatre with amazing acoustics -Overnight: Nafplio Day 2 -Ancient Olympia & museum -Cruise to Zakynthos Island -Overnight: Zakynthos Day 3 -Boat tour -Discover the color of love at the Blue Caves -The Shipwreck beach -The Zakynthos sunset from Kampi and/or Cave Damianos -The turtles of Laganas -Overnight: Zakynthos Day 4 -Delphi site -Delphi museum -Athena Pronaia site -Overnight: Meteora Day 5 -The great Meteoron Monastery -Varlaam Monastery -Holy Trinity Monastery -A quick stop at the Battlefield of Thermopylae to stretch our legs before heading back to Athens.

All transportation is by a large, air-conditioned 2022-2024 FORD Mondeo. Larger (private) groups can also be accommodated with a 2023-2025 Ford minivan, but please remember you'll need to be part of the same family or friends. The pricing shown is for two people, but if your group is bigger, please contact me for a customized quote.
