Berlin: all of it. This is my all day excursion from Warnemünde, which gives you a basic overview of Berlin's origins as a sandy swamp, up to the heady days of German unification, with everything in-between. My goal is to show you Berlin from the beginning to the end, giving you the essence of the city.
- Our chauffeur-driven and air-conditioned van will be waiting for you as you disembark. Your experienced professional driver will carry you safely and comfortably to Berlin and back to the Baltic. Transfer time from the coast to Berlin each way is Ca. 3hrs. - On arrival in Berlin, you'll meet me, your expert Berlin guide who will spend the day with you visiting some of Berlin's most poignant sights and symbols. Some of your stops include - Olympic Stadium - Charlottenburg Palace - Tiergarten - Victory Column - Soviet War Memorial - The Reichstag, - Brandenburg Gate; - The Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe - Hitler's (former) bunker site - Checkpoint Charlie - The Berlin Wall - Gendarmenmarkt - Bebel Platz - Unter den Linden - Museum Island. - Alexanderplatz - Departure time back to the coast will be 5 hours before your ship departs. I will organize a driver and a private new van, which meets you directly where the boat docks with a sign. He will whisk to Berlin where we can use the van touring, then returns you back to the Cruise.
