Port of call Warnemuende: Tracing Jewish History in Northern Germany

Departing from the port of call we will travel onwards to Rostock and explore the city centre by walking along Jewish history, e. g. the modern monuments called "Gedenksteine" (memorial stones) which were placed in front of the houses where Jewish people used to live until the Nazi period. We will visit the centre of Jewish history in Rostock which is based in a charming villa (formerly owned by the Jewish business man Max Samuel) in one of the most interesting districts of Rostock. There is an option to get in touch with the Jewish community of Rostock and visit their community centre.
