And yet, some say, they created their worst.

However, there are some real architectural gems in this city: Admire, for instance, Rem Kohlhaas' Dutch Embassy or his Axel Spring HQ. There's also a string of awe-inspiring townhouses or the extravagant Otto Bock Building. Giving you an idea of what Art Nouveau looked like in Germany is equally part of the tour as some prime examples of GDR architecture.
