Join my tour to those two most wonderful castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Learn about my favorite figure in Bavarian History King Ludwig II. Well, everybody knows Neuschwanstein, the Castle Walt Disney copied for his "Cinderella Castle". Do you know Linderhof Castle? Here King Ludwig spent most of his time at the end of his life. The only one he finished. Get all the stories and historical facts about the "Fairy Tale King", his dreams and phantasies and why he was removed from the Throne of Bavaria. Once again: He is my favorite historical figure!
Expect a wonderful day at the Castles. Our trip by VANn through stunning Bavarian landscape will take about 2 hours. On the way we'll stop at one of the most beautiful Rokoko Churches of Bavaria. Arriving at the Village we'll take the shuttle bus up the hill. Enjoy the views from Mary's Bridge and get to the Castle for the tour. Afterwards we'll walk down the road. If you like you can take the horse Carriage down. On the way to Linderhof we'll take some lunch. The afternoon will be Linderhof Castle. Ludwig's dedication to Kind Luis XIV from France.
