Join this one-of-a-kind tour that takes you from discovering the rich legends and history of Munich's Old Town to exploring an alternative cultural hotspot filled with graffiti-adorned shipping containers. Our final stop, the iconic *Alte Utting*, even inspired the New York Times to ask, *"Is Munich getting cool? Look for the boat on the bridge."* After the tour relax on the boat with a meal or drink, and if you're lucky, catch a glimpse of the Alps. This tour showcases all facets of Munich in one unforgettable experience! We’ll take the metro once. Transportation is included for 4 guests. We will meet at your hotel/accommodation if it is in the city center, or at the Fish's Fountain at Marienplatz if it is not. On our route we will see the: - Marienplatz - Heilig Geist church - Viktualienmarkt - devil's footprint in the Frauenkirche cathedral - modern festive shopping mall Fünf Höfe - Christmas village in the Imperial Court of the royal palace - 'Bahnwärter Thiel' with shiping containers decorated with graffiti - 'Alte Utting' mentioned in the New York Times. As with every ToursByLocals tour, this tour is of course customisable. Please contact me using the orange 'message guide' button to discuss this. This tour does not include a stop for lunch however if you would like to factor that in please contact me. Otherwise i will be happy to recommend some amazing places for the best of Munich's cuisine.

We’ll meet at the Fischbrunnen (Fish's Fountain) on the famous square Marienplatz. You can easily recognize me by my yellow winter hat, yellow backpack, and a large blue presentation folder in my hands.
