The Best of Bavaria and the Austrian Alps at a relaxed pace - these are the Bavarian & Alpine Dream day trip. This is a totally flexible tour that travel south to the mountains and wonderful alpine foothills. You will always see pastoral landscapes, quaint villages and alpine panoramas. We can also include a lovely boat ride on a glacial lake. This is the tour to really experience life in Bavaria and see how the locals live. Many of the places we go are hidden treasures! Please see the Itinerary section for a list of some of the possible destinations. Base price may be more for larger groups (larger vehicle).
The BAVARIAN & ALPINE DREAM trips are relaxed paced and perfect for nature lovers and photo enthusiasts. All tours can be customized. Here are some of the possibilities: GARMISCH & the ZUGSPITZE - we visit the top of Germany and the alpine resort town of Garmsich. Can be combined with Linderhof Palace or Bavarian Lakes & Villages LAKE CHIEMSEE - we visit Herrenchiemsee, the incredible island palace built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. We also visit the neighboring living island village (the Fraueninsel) for lunch and strolling. INNSBRUCK - we go up & over the Alps to & from the quaint old town center of Innsbruck. We also have time to visit the fanciful Swarovski "World of Crystal". BAVARIAN LAKES & VILLAGES - discover how beautiful Bavaria is and dive into its culture on this unique tour through the alpine foothills. SALZKAMMERGUT LAKE DISTRICT - experience the stunning beauty of the lake district east of Salzburg with its picture perfect villages perched on the shores of the lakes.
