The highlight of the day is on your river cruise & the Rhine scenic valley.
This is a great way to experience the unforgettable Rheingau region listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and comprising romantic villages, pretty vineyards and medieval castles that frame the spectacular River Rhine in central Germany.

From Frankfurt we drive up to Rüdesheim for a short walking tour of the town center and the world famous Drosselgasse and perhaps a visit to the "Germania" memorial offering great views of the valley, a wine tasting session or visit the unique museum of mechanical instruments.

Boat trip up to Sankt Goar and continue for Roman Boppard (the "Pearl on the Rhine"). Taste some German specialties, enjoy the fantastic views on the bend of the Rhine from above Boppard using a chairlift or simply stroll through the town center and the Roman remains.

On our drive back we make a stop to visit one of these magnificient castles.

Working many years as cruise director on river boats I would like you to enjoy even more of this beautiful scenery that is the Rhine valley area as only seen from the River side. That's why I am going to use roads above the valley where the boats cannot go and stop at a view point on the hills, stop in authentic medieval villages or at a 12Cy castle to get another experience of the Rhine gorges perhaps tasting local wine or food.

On your Rhinegorge river cruise do not miss the photo of this naughty girl the iconic Loreley and take your best views of the castles, vineyards, villages from the middle of the river.
In Ruedesheim stop at the Germania memorial and down town don't miss the entertainment street called "Drosselgasse"of this former fishing village. A taste of the "Ruedesheimer cofee" is a must. . .
If you are a music fan you probably like to visit the fantastic and unique Siegfried's mechanical instrument museum. where even violins play mechanically. . . Extraordinary indeed!
