What you'll see

During this tour, we will start by visiting the "Luitpold Arena" site, the "Congress Hall", "The Great Street", and the "Zeppelin Field". After beginning with the area of the Nazi party convention (Reichsparteitagsgelände), we drive to the old city, to see the memorial of the main synagoge, the Church of Our Lady that was build instead of a synagogue in the Middle Ages, the anti Jewish depicts on the Saint Sebaldus Church, the tomb stone that was used as a building stone in the court of the minister of the Saint Sebaldus Church. But we also refer to general history of Nürnberg seeing the house of the German artist Dürer from the outside, visiting the castle of Nürnberg.

We are visiting the Nazi Party Rallye ground with all the left monuments, like the unfinished Congress Hall, the grandstand at the Zeppelinfield, and the Great Avenue. The gigantism is incredible. The museum there, Documentaitoncenter, shows how Hitler came to power and much more. These monuments are the biggest still intact buildings, which have been built by the National Socialists. We are exploring the architectural traces, which the totalitarian regime left in Nürnberg.

After the visit to this monumental architecture, we are walking to the Zeppelinfeild and grandstand. I'll show you the great avenue, which was built as, a 2 km long parade ground and also the ditch of the foundation of the planned Stadium. After having a look at the park Luitpoldhain we are taking the car to the Memorium. In the criminal court, justice history was written. The trial against the "main war criminals" began in the criminal court, "Courtroom 600". In that museum, you can find original movies and equipment from that time.

Nuremberg 3rd Reich sites - Private Walking Tour

We'll explore the remaining Third Reich sites in the city including the Luitpold Arena, Congress Hall of the Nazi Party and the Zeppelin Field. These were the largest Nazi gatherings in history and the remains of the largest 3rd Reich buildings are still here. Please be aware that the Rallies were held in a large public park which is still in use for events today, so not all areas will be accessible at all times.

We then travel to the Nuremberg Courthouse, home to Courtroom 600 and the War-Crimes Trials. There is an additional entrance fee of €7. 50 per person if you wish to see the courtroom and exhibition. The entrance fee includes an audio guide in English.
